Our coaches have extensive experience and expertise to share. That knowledge is best shared when the teacher willingly examines how and what they teach, asks for targeted feedback, identifies what kind of classroom interaction (if any) they want, and participates in a pre-conference, observation\/meeting, and post-conference (Yopp et al., 2011). Classroom interactions may include observing, modeling a lesson, leading a field trip, or co-teaching. The same process can be applied to small teams of teachers working together on a specific initiative.
