- Schedule individual appointments to discuss your own writing, writing processes, and goals, materials for publications, research projects, etc

Our Professional and Peer Writing Specialists work hard to offer thorough feedback and suggestions in response to students’ stated concerns and requests for writing assistance. Writing Specialists rely on redirection and modeling techniques to help students develop writing knowledge and skills to recognize their own writing patterns and styles.
Students retain full agency to make final revision decisions about their writing projects.
Our Professional and Peer Writing Specialists DO NOT:
- Shame or belittle student writing
- Emphasize the “right way” to write
- Do drop-off, line-by-line, fix-it style editing
- Ghostwrite assignments
